Legislative Bill Components
Every bill is structured to mirror real legislative chambers. We require a clear An Act To section, followed by a detailed Purpose statement that defines the bill's intent. This is followed by the Provisions and Definitions that outline the specific legal changes and key terms.
Each bill must include a Justification explaining why the legislation is necessary and a Fiscal Impact analysis of the estimated costs. We also require an Environmental Impact assessment to ensure all proposals are sustainable. Finally, the bill must specify the Effective Date to determine when the new law takes effect.
