Steering, Advocacy & Albany
Steering Weekends
High school students gather in Albany for intensive leadership sessions. These weekends focus on parliamentary procedure, committee research, and legislative drafting in the real chambers.
Advocacy Day
A pivotal event where students present their legislation to the Youth Governor and Cabinet. This is the final opportunity to refine bills and prepare for the official Albany conference.
Albany Conference
The culmination of the year. Students serve as real legislators, justices, and cabinet officials in the historic State Capitol. Overnight stays at the Desmond Hotel provide a full experience of state government.
